Thanks for showing interest in my restaurant. To make the story short, I just received the alcohol permit last Friday. Kelley's is located in the intersection of three Hwy which is in White County and it is "Dry". Restaurateurs here had been trying to get a Alcohol license for years. No body ever success. I am the first one ever got it. I put Kelley's on the market sine last year because by May 2008, after my son graduated from Medical School, I will not need to support my kids any more. I had many buyers enquire about the restaurant but never come out with a price I want sell. Being in a "Dry" county is one of the reason. Since Jan 2007, I hired a Lawyer to help me to get a Alcohol permit. With God's will and a lot of luck I finally got it last Friday. The Permit come with the location and it could not be relocated. The permit allow you to sell any kind of liquor, beer, wine or mix drink. You can open 365 days from 7:00 am to 2:00 am next day. Since it is new, you can start a new concept and even change the name. I know it is going to be a "Gold Mine" but I kind of burn out and I want some one to do the "Mine" digging. However, I will stay for not more than 3 months with pay until the Permit is tranferred.
